Default 2.5 inch STI exhaust question

Hi, i have the standard 2.5 STI exhaust on my STI, and had both cats removed. I was wondering if i would actually gain any performance if i upgraded to a "performance" 2.5 inch exhaust to replace my standard STi exhaust. If they are both the same size and the cats have already been removed then would i gain any more power? I plan to upgrade my engine to 380 bhp in the summer, some people have said leave the STI exhaust on some people have said to change it, any ideas?

I know people said that my 2.5 inch will be ok for my needs but I was just wondering if I did swap it for a 2.5 inch performance one (stainless steel , lifetime warranty) then would it give me more preformance, cheers

As explained before on the thread, a 2.5" is fine for 400bhp, and helps early spool up.

A stainless one wont rust, and it will be lighter.
