Service for new (to me) Hawkeye
Hi Everyone,
After many many years and much heartbreak after selling my JDM WRX I am returning to the fold.
I have my eye on a nice low mileage, well maintained 2.5 Hawkeye. Due to being the paranoid type, I want to get it in for a quick service to make sure its all good to go and no hidden issues.
Can anyone suggest anywhere near Chester that they can recommend for a good service?
Also, as it is a 2.5 block with the infamous piston land issue, I am keen to get forged internals. Would £2.5K for a good preventive fix?
