TD05 how to spot a fake?

I would say you will spot fake turbo by few signs like is cheap and cast material is not as good as on TD range,second bit which I would have look is wastegate port and wastegate itself and then shaft if its OK(doesn't move side to side etc.)
If you want to go with TD05 turbo,then I would suggest have look on the older TD05 from classic and convert this to New age spec,I would suspect with this turbo you should be making close to 330bhp,if not then VF34 or VF35 with billet upgrade,will be nice choice
