Hi there im looking at the above bluray player as well as bdp 170
Has anyone have one at all if what is the opinions etc

If that was me i'd look for one of the original Pioneer Bluray players that were actually made by Pioneer, the ones after the BDP LX52 were made by Sharp who took over the manufacturing. You won't get one new, you should be able to source one on ebay or somewhere like AV Forums.
