Please, please, please help. This is driving me insane!
Whenever I try stream movies, shows etc on my iPad i can watch for a short period but then lose my wifi connection. The wifi literally disconnects only when watching video. It doesn't matter if it's a movie site or ESPN or something. I don't ever get the problem when surfing the net, Facebook, Twitter etc.
I have an iPad Air connected to a Sky wireless router. I view the video via AirPlay to an Apple TV. I'm really not sure if it's an issue with the Apple TV, the iPad, the router or the broadband. I'm so stuck!
Any idea what I can do? As you can imagine it's so annoying having to reconnect back to the wifi every 15 minutes during a movie.

What does your router do when this happens? Any lights change colour or start to flash? What about other devices in the home, when you drop connection does any other devices do the same thing at that time.

What should it be?
I'll give that a try
I've got it set to screensaver 'Never' so shouldn't be that. It seems to cut off random times each time.

Prob crap router.
Does your wifi signal ICON actually go? If so then I doubt it's DHCP,
Does it do the same on a laptop or phone ? Or just iPad, need to figure out if it's IPAD or Router, using a phone laptop will help diagnose it if it's same on them the. Router. If not then iPad....

I've started to notice something about this. If I'm watching the content just in the iPad, it seems to play fine. The disconnects seem to occur when paired with the apple TV. The ATV is running the latest update, as is the iPad so I don't know really.
Does that help anyone diagnose my fault?
Many thanks.
