finally.. we are seeing some real cars.. with real power!!
now if we could only get the WRC here in North America!!! oh that would be great!

Great photos Jamie as usual.
The rim was the first time a WRC car had competed in the USA Pro-Rally series, driven by Mark Lovell (2nd piccie down).
For those who dont know, Mark was British Open Rally Champion in 1986 driving the RS200.
He has been out of serious competition for a while but has returned to head up Prodrives asault on the US Pro-Rally championship, their equivilent to our British Rally Championship.
2nd driver home was Richard Tutill, so it was a brit 1-2 over in the USA.
I hope we see a return to the USA for the World Rally Championship, a couple more years growth like they are seeing right now could just bring that about. There are some amazing forests over there just waiting to be driven through!

Would i be right in saying from a marketing point of view, it would be a waste of time? Considering half these cars (their production variants) arent allowed in the US because of emmissions regs?

well we did.. FINALLY get the WRX... and i tell you Mitsubishi is watching intently to see how it is received... i am hoping they will introduce us to the EVO sometime inthe next few years... there Mitsu rumors... and more Subie rumors... rumors of the STi WRX being brought over...
if these cars are received well.. and the public cries for more... how can the manufacturers NOT listen?
there is so much money to be made.. they just need to find a way to get the cars spec'd and into the U.S.
