Default Floppy gear stick, RB5

Hi there I have a very loose gear stick over to the left, over to the right returns to centre like normal.

I have had a look at the linkage, am I right in saying the facelift imprezas don't use springs they rely solely on bushes to return to neutral ? And that my problem could be caused by a very worn bush? Any help appreciated , changing into 1st,2nd and 3rd is a lottery.

Thanks
Joe

There's no spring underneath mate, I thought V5 and V6 didn't use the springs

they dont, likely to be the actual bushes in the UJ where the stick joins the linkage................

we do upgraded kits to sort if required

the bushes in the UJ you cant buy seperate so we re-manufacture this using nylon uprated parts and also include the lower large steady bush in the kit

best to contact the office direct for specific queries / orders
