What would be the best panel filter to go for?

Default What would be the best panel filter to go for?

On a 54 blob im converting it back to the airbox as its got a silly ebay cone filter on and was wondering should i go aftermarket panel filter or is the standard subaru one any good

A standard throw away filter would be fine mate but aftermarket items such as k+n and pipercross are washable and cary a lifetime guarantee so pay for themselves eventually and may add 1 or 2 ponies in the process..

I got a lot more induction noise when I changed to the COSWORTH panel filter, but as long as you change it regularly a standard one will be fine.

Green or STI, I wouldn't use a Piper cross as mine had one when I bought the car and had a few Idling issues, swapped for an STI one I had in the garage and problem solved.
