classic GC8 compare to GD series

classic GC8 compare to GD series
i am in the market for a WRX Sti. apart from weight, engine differences, can anyone highlight any other details ?
as much i prefer the GC8, they are harder to come by in good condition in my area ( i am not from UK) and for the GD series i am actually looking at the S203 and S204.
kinda undecided now and most likely will just buy the best condition unit i can get. street driving is what i do most.
