I was back in Walkden a few weeks ago to see my parents....... i left swearing I would rather never see my parents again than go back to that dump....... but Steve's Chippy on Walkden Road is still rock and roll

 

Steve's chippy but you're right it is a dump and unfortunately I am stuck here for a while due to health reasons (need to be close to hope hospital) but as soon as I can I will be moving back to the countryside.

p.s where have you managed to escape too?

 

It seems to be slowly turning into an extension of Little Hulton - apologise if anyone takes offence by that.
