Default Rear Hub Replacement

Is the replacement of the rear hubs a job best attempted by a Subaru specialist?

I have a new pair for my rears as the originals are grumbling a bit and i managed to source a new original pair for a good price and I was wondering if there are some specialist tools required or will a decent grease monkey be able to do it?

I assume I will have to have the alignment done after?

Thanks

TB
