Default GC8 STI suspension bits

STI trailing arms

http://www.japanparts.com/images/Ima...base=1&no=7612

And Lateral Links

http://www.japanparts.com/images/Ima...base=1&no=7613

Are these bits uprated bits or are they just to look nice?

The trailing arms are pillow balled and the links uprated rubber

A nice upgrade and OE on some JDM Ltd Editions

Nice

Even better with subframe lock bolts. The rear will feel super tight and connected with the rest of the car

I forget, what shock absorber system are you using - coilies or fixed perch? Compliancey and longish (OE) travel in that department is a good 'counter' to the tighter sharper input feedback.

Stiff side-walled tyres would be good too

They're a very worth while upgrade and will drastically improve turn in and the overall feel of the car.
As said the trailing arms are pillow ball.
The lateral links are what they (STI) call triple pillow ball. 3 locations are fitted with pillow ***** and one (the aft out board) is fitted with a Grp N rubber bush.
The STI pillow ***** are of excellent quality.

Suspension are the Bilsteins from the WR sports package combined with P1 springs.
Rear droplinks and 24mm ARB are Whiteline.

Tyres are T1Rs (17") but not really a fan of them.
