genuine sti genome boost gauge fitting

do i need a deffi control unit for the sti genome boost gauge or is it simply run off the pipe from the blow off valve and some illumination wires etc like a normal gauge.

Needs a control unit I'm afraid. This for the gauge on eBay lol
