Default Gasket paper?

Does anyone know where you can get this from, I'm located in bridgend and would ideally need it tomorrow, bank holiday I know though!!

I'm basically replacing my oem recirc valve for a forge recirc as recommended to me, I'm due for a tweek on Tuesday and want to replace it before then, not sure wether this will matter though,

Bit worried about damaging the gasket on the original so may not be able to reuse it!

Cheers

I thought the gasket was actually made of rubber and not paper? I may be wrong but on my newage cars I believed there to be a rubber gasket between the valve and the TMIC.

In an emergency you could cut out the shape from say a Corn Flakes box as it's about the right thickness, it's a bit of a McGyver fix but would get you out of a problem.

Try Halfords or a local motor factor such as GMF, Unipart etc and they should have gasket paper on the shelf, usually it comes in an assortment pack.

There is a steel gasket that is covered in rubber on an OEM (and best)Newage Recirculator DV.

It is rubber but see some people have used gasket paper after doing a bit of research, just assumed this was an ideal replacement, I would have just bought a ready made replacement had I bloody remembered but will now have to source some material and make one myself tomorrow as it is too late, don't think halfords sell it, may try gmf

Just a bit of an update guys, decided to remove the oem recirc valve to see what's what and the gasket was in good order and decided to stick to the intercooler, anyway after a bit of ffffing and blinding got the forge one on, all seems well, there are a few different sounds so will see what the mapper says on Tuesday, May well just put the new gasket on when it arrives for piece of mind, thanks all for the quick responses
