Default Buying a property in Spain

With prices the way they are in most regions of Spain, has anyone else thought of buying for a future investment or permanent/holiday home? They just seem like they can't go down in price much more.

I guess it's matter of who owns the property now

If you plan to live in it yes but investment? Things are getting from bad to worse in the south of Europe and it will come to the rest soon.

We did last year and it's fab, we now have a holiday home which we are slowly making our own.

If you have the funds to invest and it's what you want to do then go for it, just make sure it is one of the legal ones.
