Gearbox swapping
I guys and girls,
Just wanted to check compatability before I purchase a new box. I have a uk 2000 turbo with a TY754VN1AA gearbox at the moment. The box I'm looking at buying is a TY752VB3AA + rear diff which I understand has a 4.11 ratio compared to my current box which has a 4.44 ratio. Will the new box definitely fit my car and are there any other issues I need to be aware of? Any help and tips will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I was wondering which boxes are the strongest/most reliable as I have read that some are better than others. I've found a few tables on the net about different gearboxes and the ratios they have but nothing yet about reliability. Do you know any good links or which gearboxes are strongest? Cheers for your help

I've got a TY754VN1AA in my early car, it's been in about 6/7 years now and has never given me any issues.
Prior to that, I'd destroyed 2 TY752 boxes.
