A friend of mine at work has had his forester fail it's MOT due to a dog chewed riverside seat belt. Does anyone know if one from an impreza will fit in his forester. It is an 07 XT

 

Here is the seatbelt parts diagram from an 07XT. Click on the part number which is needed, and it will tell you what other cars it fits. Look like part number 6, Stopper-tang: http://opposedforces.com/parts/fores...ont_seat_belt/

 

Do be aware that he MAY also have to take the catch the seatbelt fits INTO from the Impreza seat-rails, or the new one MAY not fasten.

This happened to me when changing seats...I had to remove the newly fitted new seat, remove the seatbelt buckle off it and fit my old one in it's place.

 

yes, i've had to retain classic socket when fitting sti8 seats etc
