Smile Test drive anyone?????

As a few of you are aware, after coming along on a few runs and having a go at the wheel in the sheep worriers weapon, I fell in love with the feeling and have got to get me one. I was also toying with the idea of a Evo and have taken mervils tme evo6 for a spin. Unfortunately for the Evo the scooby burble won it for me and I put my car up for sale to release some funds. My car has finally gone so now am officially on the lookout.

I have seen a few that take my fancy, however some are 100's of miles away. I'm currently torn between a classic of approx 300bhp or a newage 2.0 at 400bhp. I can appreciate the newage is around 200kg heavier yet I'm hoping it would have the same sort of feel/experience as the classic I took for a spin.

Basically what I'm getting at, would anyone in the South Wales area be kind enough to take me out for a quick spin (them driving obviously) to try and help make up my mind??? Naturally I would pay for fuel etc.

If you could pm me or post on here it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks max

I think Gregwill offered before mate with his JDM hawk, send him a nice pm and see if the kind offer is still on.

Its very difficult to try all the models, but i definately think its wise to have a seat in similar cars to what your looking at, the difference in them could be worth a few grand in your pocket.

The classic and Newage cars are a totally different drive IMO and only you will know which you prefer .
I'd also say that UK car will be a different drive to JDM versions so its a lot of information to get your head around.

Your doing the right thing trying them out before jumping in!

Good luck

I 've had a 450Bhp type r and now have a standard ish newage sti, the classic is a great drive and Handles very well but the build quality ain't great. The new age is slower but the cabin and build quality are so much better. The new age sti also comes with much better spec as standard; brakes, gearbox, engine, seats.
The list goes on
