What a machine this was. The owner so kindly started it up. OMG What a sound, A car with real power. Would hate to pull up along side this at a set of traffic lights. I just felt sorry for the Heart found danation shop.

Superb pics Darren Just for the record the Cortina belongs to a friend of mine its 550 bhp 600 ft lb torque and will do 11 sec quarters A Type R will leave it from the lights though Its much quicker top end than mine.

In the morning, when I was talking to SSS and nickthehead, then Cliff and Swiss came along, Cliff, saw your brakes and he throught, looking from behin that your rear brakes where your fronts. Then he rrealised that they where your rears...anyone can see that they are rear brakes, not fronts

It was a fab day, only problem I gotta wait another year until it happens again it was that good.

 

I'm a bit gutted I didnt attend, I was going to come as its only an hour away from me!! I have no excuse! I cant beleive Alton allows all those cars to fill there town centre. How is it possible? Who organised it and did they have to apply to do so I'm just wondering??

He is a member on the council team and head of events in Alton and he also has a Bugeye scoob
