Lol it only span once and in the wet and only fools like Tuppence road race when it's moist.

Why I spun it remains a mystery, I think it might have been the fact my rear tyres were cheaper than my front ones, it was peeing it down, tracking was out, tyres were cold as I'd just set off and that both back and front brakes were binding on the nearside. Who knows? certainly nobody on here.

Lol I did for a time, but as soon as the replacement pillar covers were fitted they were put back on.

I don't need to work at your insurance company.
You have removed vital parts of the cars crash structure.
You haven't told them as they wouldnt insure a car like that

So basically T all those mods that you explicitly claim I haven't done I've not declared to my insurance company. lmfao.

Classic Mr Tubble.

I'll be honest Tubble, I've never lost the back end of the car, I've never spun on the spot, fitting an ARB actually exacerbated fuel use as it's heavier than the stock item, I did have to remove the doors to fit a sticker to my door pillars and I haven't ever left an STI opponent from the lights.

As for Maccy D's the wife had to help me finish the 3rd Big Mac off.. ...phew what a weight off my shoulders!

So you've removed the boot carpet and the matts, but, left the main carpet in? What's the point? The main carpet is heavier than those.

Lightweight prop. Get saving!

Matt how do you know the exact bhp of every car you race???

Do you know how many scooby owners live near me who tell me they have 500bhp in there classic WRX's, funny thing is that are still using the standard TMIC and standard turbo!!

All this weight saving that's been done and yet the centre console is still sitting there in the picture, surely one of the easiest and first things you'd get rid off?
If you was actually serious about saving weight and the rear seats?

Imagine how quick it would be now......maybe on Lamborghini territory

Its quite interesting this weight shedding topic, it just makes me wonder how light can a newage shell become without spending any serious money or sacrificing creature comforts.

If i was gonna do it I'd start at the front end. I would cut out any excess metal and replace with sheet aluminium and rivets, then the excess in the doors, then think about the roof skin and boot lid, sheet aluminium boot floor and battery relocated in boot.

Are coilovers much lighter than oem struts and springs

TBH my car is a sleeper inside, only the MD seats and lack of roof handles give the game away, I have no gauges or turbo timers etc and I've posted 3 pics recently to show I have lightweight seats, lightweight alloys, no fog-lights and "carbon" pillar covers right off the bat. I can post more pics, of missing brackets (wife fitting or removing parts) etc but it's probably elementary now.

How do I know a cars power? My IQ is 150.

There's no limit to weight saving tbh, I think demon tweaks even offer lightweight alternators.

It would be interesting to know what the lightest Newage weighs, I think the Revolution car had quite a bit of weight shedding. I'm not sure what all the available carbon goodies/polycarbonate fitted could take one down to.

From what I've read since it's a factor of many things causing worse mpg making the colder air just about redundant once up to running temps. That said there's usually differing opinions on cars.
