I am sure you are excited but , its really not an attractive looking car is it?
Maybe just my opinion but I just cannot see any beauty in it at all.
Sorry to p*ss on your chips !!
I slightly agree, never liked the look of these, but you can't ignore the machanicals.
I'm dreading every post after he's got it
We got rid of the RFTs on the 335d as soon as we could - well before they'd worn out. They were absolutely diabolical!
i hate mine, rear P-Zero's are making a horrendous noise (like a wheel bearing),they will be swapped soon as i start using the D again, next step for me after the 335D is an R35
Your paranoid !!
I merely commented on it not being particularly pleasant to look at.
My opinion only..
Chill
Opinions are like arseholes...........
The 135 is a fantastic little motor, even better with lsd. Coming from a diesel you're really going to relish using the revs Matty.
Red interior will look very smart
Doesn't discolour as much as cream leather
The "oyster" is nice but we thought the same too. Black made the cabin a bit too gloomy for us. The red gets black detailing and seems to look slightly higher rent than the black too.
Einstein - will see what it's like but might consider a Birds LSD if we feel the need.
The new M235i (not for us as we need a hatch boot!) can be had with Terra leather like our 335d - pretty cool I reckon. You can have red paint too; not for me but many like it. M135i interior and exterior colours are pretty limited!

Got black leather in the civic ex gt but its not too bad as I have the panoramic roof which really lifts the interior
I've had cream leather before but the dye transfer from jeans tends to discolour it after 3/4 years and not much you can do once it's dirty
A good quality leather cream is a must and treat every couple of months
To me part of a car experience is the interior and especially the seats colour so red and black pin striping will set it apart from many other cream interiors of the BMW
I treat our leather regularly with AG leather cleaner then conditioner; smells great (like newly treated/oiled horse saddle!) and means ours still looks almost new seven years later. Being nerdy can be useful at times.
I will also give it the full works with Dodo Supernatural Hybrid to seal the paint. And I will stick carpet protector on too.

This forum is for car enthusiasts who spend a lot of money on their cars and look after them properly and spend money and time on detailing and keeping them in good condition
Occasionally some idiots join but rarely get past 100 posts

The irony is that Mattee has more of a life than most of us on here which you would know if you spent some time reading rather than posting nonsense. Only my opinion!
How much difference does that auto box make on the 0-60 and 0-100 runs?
I've not found 0-100 differences but for 0-60, the auto is 0.2s quicker. However with the new launch control, I think it might be a larger gap. In that vid I posted, the guy uses launch control and gets 4.4s to 60 and 10.3 to 100. Pretty sure that's M3 fast ;-)
Well done getting your new car. Not everyone's cup of tea on the looks front, but still a top top car, especially considering what it can do for how much it costs.
