Getting a lot more power from the engine is not cheap but is possible as I have found.

Bought mine new almost 12 years ago and still own it. It will never be sold but neither will my P1.
Tbh, I still think my mx5 handles better than Clio ATM, but there was a heap of stuff on the Mazda, I'm not far off with Clio ATM so soon shall catch upto it, only done light 15s, cooksports and cup dampers to handling ATM, looking to do rarb and pure Motorsport mounts and brace and should be epic by then.

Any other things to think about in handling department? Apart from stripping and having a big poo before I drive it

Is that all you did the cam kit only? Not aux kit, waterpump or dephaser
You do it yourself.

Other thing to try are adjustable top mounts, poly bushes, rear ARB, rear camber shims and some of the PMS stiffening mods for the rear beam and front wishbones.

I've done them all bar the PMS stuff and can say mine handles a lot better than before now that it is setup professionally and I use A048's which work well with mods.

Basically I fooked up, never done my research.......I wanted to paint the rocker cover so decided to take it off without realising the cover is also the retainer for the cams....lol

The belt obviously had to come off now and even tho it was only a year old i decided to replace it anyway for the sake of 80quid......Yes I done it myself, borrowed some timing tools from a guy I know at Ktec..

Not too bad doing the poly bushing but geo needs done again of course.

I've got ast top mounts which allow me to get a good level of caster and get the camber from the KW struts.

Oh dear, get the timing checked out as it could be a big bill if any things out.
I asked as the whole job for everything inc cam, aux, pump and dephaser is £600+ and by a specialist.

The cam timing is s fine, id go as far as saying they were not timed up correctly before I removed it all, the car appears to rev more freely and seems more urgent than it did before.

Geom is standard of course with anything suspension wise I know.

I'm not going to run coilovers at this moment in time tbh, may opt for koni shocks at a later date so not fussed about adjustable mounts, will make do with camber, bushes, arbs etc for now.

What does make me laugh though is the extortion prices people sell used parts for.

Tit?

My have, may have not, still proves you may have had other marques but know **** all about them
You can't say that you've had more marques when you don't 'actually' know how many I've had

Who does your work on your car, ie services, modding etc?
