Is it ?? Does that include the senders, control box, etc ? Maybe I should ask Scoobymania for a group price then ?

might b cunning as looking at it:
There are five different instruments available. Each instrument includes a gauge and sensor. Once a basic set has been purchased, (control unit and any individual meter), additional gauges may be purchased separately and connected to the control unit purchased with the original meter.
price inc VAT
Control Unit 2 £65.82
Turbo Boost Meter £100.56
Oil Pressure Meter £114.93
Oil Temperature Meter £76.61
EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp)meter £114.93 Fuel Pressure £114.93
'A'pillar pod (incl MY01) £41.13
SM Centre 3 Gauge Pod £94.00

So it does look like scoobymania are already doing this kinda deal. Not trying 2 rain on yer parade just noticed it when i went thru me list of fav scoob suppliers 2 look at the defi stuff.

babber - YHM

I am keen to get the gauges.

What do I need to do?

What I am after is:
White
60mm
Oil Pressure
Oil Temperature
Boost
In the nice curvy defi pod for MY99
Of course the control unit
And everything needed to fit them.

Does an oil temperature adaptor come with the kit?

I shall get them fitted by my dealer.

edited to ask:
is this the new 3 minute recording kit, or the previous 40 second recording kit.
I assume the former 3 minute kit.

All,

Just sorting out the finer details and will post once the supplier is ready. Sorry for the delays in getting this resolved, but it hasn't helped with BBS being down all weekend.

Phil,

Based on the price from that website you are not getting them from ... is the 20% based on the price there and does that include vat ie the turbo gauge and control unit is £149. Would you price be £120 fully inc or is there vat to add. Plus do we get them direct or through you.

Cheers m8 for arranging.

Dave.

Dave here you go, pinched from phil stephens members gallery thread from a while back. This is a scoobysport one so I guess if NA don't supply we can always try them

Thnx Boultsy

That looks like the subaru(lamco) one which I believe comes as a kit with the gauge only and I thought the gauge was smaller than 53mm?

Hi babber,
I may be interested in a 3 gauge set of 52mm items.
However, am I right in syaing that the gauges face square from the pod, in other words the best place to see them is sitting in the back of the car looking between the seats?
Do they make a pod where the gauges are angled slightly toward the driver?
I'd be more interested if they do.

What is EGT? Is the price (page 1) all inclusive, ie. boost, oil temp + pressure, pod, control unit and all the gubbins to get it plumbed in and ready to roll?

Figured out EGT - exhaust gas temperature! Now, what is the need to have that information, why is it useful. Should that info take priority over oil temp or pressure?

afaik
EGT is good to know if ur running too lean.. i think its like a state of tuning or something...

whereas oil pressure would be good to monitor for internal engine health...

and oil temperature.. smilar... but also to know when to gun it..

probably other reasons too
