Look again, how do you know she's not grabbing the door handle to close the door.
Who opened the back door, the kid? Maybe he/she was going to wade in.

Either way the bikers were a bunch of ***** get over it.

Yes they were a bunch of *****, 100 or so bikers, only one goes over. But they were all "out of control animals".
The rear door is open, if they were in anyway in fear of the child being harmed why is the door open?.
I did say one or two bikers had acted badly, but the RR driver was the aggressor and to blame from start to finish. If anyone put the wife/child in danger it was him.

Because someone opened it!

Anyway I'll summarise so we don't tie up our Sunday afternoon playing ping pong over the net....

I think RRS driver was justified, you don't.
Let's just see what the outcome is and leave it at that.

Enjoy your day

Nik.

You're not making much sense. On one hand you are saying that the wife is probably closing the door and keeping herself safe, but on the other hand "someone" has opened the rear door and she isn't bothered about that?.
None of the RR's actions fit the bill for someone that is scared and acting in a protective manor, neither before, during or after.
The "pack of wild animals" however between all 100 hundred of them acting in their aggressive fashion managed to give the RR driver a scratch. The poor defenseless driver RR driver managed to put another human in a coma.

Then you will be able to justify his actions, which you seem to be avoiding like the plague, and getting aggressive (Do you drive a Range Rover?) .

Apparently NYPD have stated they will not be prosecuting the Range Rover driver.

Kwik, there's usually a theme to these threads, the majority follow a reasonable sense of rationale, but there's always one or two trolls who play devils advocate to get a reaction. You are he

From what I seen a total **** biker rider pulls in front of the RR and looks back while braking
trying to stop the RR driver and bumper his back tyre onto the fellas bumper
the RR stops and then is surrounded by bikers !

its says the bike rider who was injured was trying to help the RR driver in one of the videos but to be honest I smell bullsh1t but I cant say for certain

WELL WHY WAS HE NEEDING HELP IF NOT BECAUSE THE BIKERS THAT WERE SWARMED AROUND HIS CAR WERE THREATENING AND INTIMIDATING !

if any of you think the bikers were stopping him to have a polite chat and tell him off then just so much LOL's

they were using a pack mentality around a family man with a feckin 2 year old child in the RR FFS.

and maybe and I mean maybe one or two bikers were trying to calm the situation but the other god knows how many bikers round the car were not and using intimidating behaviour

Yea very smart idea kwik you bright spark of intelligence

say he jumps out and his wife drives away and only a couple of bikers see that he has jumped out and then the other mountain of bikers go after the RR
with his wife and two year old child in the back !

you are starting to amaze me KWIK LOL
I think you should stick to opening up impreza engines with a screwdriver other than trying to justify why a family man trying to protect his family is a aggressor !

But if you're in fear of your life you would try wouldn't you? If you were in fear of your and your childs life would you be fine with the back door being open and be hanging out of the door yourself.

You fail to realise the RR driver could have stopped when the bike slowed. This means the RR purposely ran into the back of him. That's aggressive, as is running 2 of them over, as is smashing into the other bike later on. 3 acts of aggression I see from the RR driver, not conjecture or rumour, its on film. 2 acts of aggression from the same biker, out of 100 "animals".

Again conjecture and rumour. Come back when you have a point to make rather than name call.

I can already sense the regret at jumping in on this thread here but hey ho, slow day at work.

Yes the RR driver could have stopped when the moron on the bike pulled in front and decelerated trying to force the RR to a complete standstill. However you have to question the motive of the bike in question, what was the intention after the RR had come to a stop?

At the end of the day, some Johnny big bollocks gets brave with 100 odd mates watching him and doesn't like the outcome when Mr RR gets frightened and puts his foot down.

Loads of people in the wrong there, including bikers and the RR - however we cannot rewind all we can do is speculate. No amount of bickering here will decide an outcome.

At least you can see some of what the RR driver has done wrong. the majority seem to think "the big bad horrible bikers" were to blame totally.
Apparently aggression isn't knocking someone over in a 3 tonne car, or running them over but instead slowing gently in front of them lol.
I was discussing this in the car with my mrs earlier and she agreed that the RR driver had a road rage moment hitting the back of the bike on purpose which then spiralled out of control. What we can't see, only what rumours we hear is what happened between then and the RR running them over.
I remember pulling out of a road outside my Son's kung fu which is pretty blind. It's a 30mph road and as it was clear I pulled out. Then this car flew down almost hitting me as I emergency stopped. I shook my head at the chap and he slammed on his brakes and jumped out, as did I. Straight away I said my boy was in the car, and we then had a heated discussion about his/my driving, but it never got violent.
I wonder if the bikers had any idea the child was in the back?.
I can quite happily admit where one or 2 of the bikers went wrong, but there seems to be no blame for the "innocent family man" from some members.

You'd think that chap would stop wearing a headcam.... as in that Prius Video, they are blatantly running red lights, having other bikers block traffic at intersections, riding down pavements at high speed, intimidating other road traffic and generally riding like absolute bellends.... karma can be a b1tch sometimes...

I've been into bikes for years but I still think these bikers were bell ends and deserved what they got, going around in a pack intimidating other road users, riding all over the place revving engines and being a general nuisance because there's loads of you on a rally and you own the road so everyone should get out of the way and concede to your might etc.

As is always the way bullies pick on the wrong person sometimes and get their ***** handed to them, for me this is the perfect example of that and should serve as a warning for other would be biker bullies, car v's biker = biker in hospital, if your going to ride around like you own the road attacking people going about their business expect it to end in tears sooner or later.

If you're a biker Ditch then you'd know how vulnerable you are on the road against an ordinary car, let alone a 3 tonne RR.
Did the biker(s) act like ****? Yes, of course. Did the RR driver purposely run someone off their bike when there wasn't any major threat? Yes, of course.
To put it into context, if we were in a convoy and someone purposely hit my car then sped off I would hope someone would keep up with him until the police arrived.

If the RR driver feared for the safety of his family then he wouldn't have acted how he did.

... and would you not also consider it risky for such a vulnerable road user to brake test a Range Rover from 2 metres away? Someone whom regards their and others' safety would not do this, Shirley?

Absolutely, a silly thing to do, showing off I expect. However he didn't stick it on its nose, he broke slowly, giving the RR driver time to stop, the RR driver didn't.
And don't call me Shirley .

The bloke was an idiot and trying to intimidate by being a smart ****, I hope he's the one in a coma, his actions caused everything and he deserved to be run over carrying on like that.

He was already close to the RR which is something he did on purpose as he was alongside prior to being too close in front of RR then trying to be clever braking in front of it, doubt he thinks he's clever now.

Why is my point, and yes as a biker you are vulnerable so all the more reason not to be a d!ck head.

Come on mate, nobody deserves to be run over and put in a coma, only the likes of Huntley/West/Bradey. We've all done stupid things, especially on the road. I can think of a few respected users on here putting video's up of them doing things they shouldn't be. But in reality
stupid is one thing, knocking someone over on purpose is beyond that, then running them over is just plain mental.

I'm obviously the only one with this view, so I'll just shut up now

Kwik,
Lest play a game: just you and me.

You are on holiday in a foreign country in a hire car with your wife/girlfriend in the passenger seat and your daughter/life's work on your back seat.

The road is empty, there is nowhere to turn of am you have stopped to look for direction.

You are suddenly surrounded by 100 people all wearing masks. Some of them are acting aggressively to you and your wife. You don't know them, but they are angry with you.

What do YOU do next......?
