Don't get me wrong, WAYN is nothing sinister- just a copycat of Facebook, that's all. Well, it seemed like that, 5 years ago. But I just don't know why I needed to attach complete strangers from all over the world to my profile, and go 'yaaaye!' at their holiday and party pics. I had no interest in their lives, nor did I feel that they should take interest in mine. So I got out.

I think what happens is that you only need one on-line chroanie of yours to be on such sites. Then the site is able to search for their usual on line contacts to target them as their future members. Just a presumption, not sure.
