It would look a lot more tasteful if you lost the tacky RS bonnet vents, had the normal badges on, and had the numberplate in the normal central position too. Honestly, it would.
It seems as if you got carried away and did those mods just for the sake of it, which doesn't actually make it look any better at all.

Looks good to me and the mods all seem extremely well done and work wth the car (plate aside, but as explained that is temporary).
The trouble with this place is that as soon as someone puts up pic of a car that isn't a Subaru the knives come out. I learned that with my last AMG which is one of the reasons no pics of my current one are to be found on this site!
True petrolheads appreciate and understand all sorts of different marques and vehicles, this site more than most seems to have a high number of posters who are only interested in Subarus and have no appreciation or understanding of other marques!

The car ain't my cup of tea but I don't mind saying I don't like what the OP has done. I just can't believe people seem to be taking pleasure in telling the OP his car is a chavvy POS.
Each to their own - what happened to that?

I can't even tell what he's done to it.
I't just looks like a normal focus with stripes on the bonnet to me, not my thing either, but I can appreciate the reasons for getting one over a hatch although judging from the crack in the block there not a great deal better, how much did that cost to sort out?
It is funny watching a load of chav mobile drivers trying to take the pee out of another chav mobile driver though.
F1, I'd like to see some pics of your car please , i'll not take the p!ss honest, anyway since when did you start giving a **** what people on here think.

I actually love Focus STs, I'm not Subaru bias at all.
This just stinks of "sticking things on for the sake of it" and it looks a bit naff. To be fair to badger, the stripes are standard on the ST500 - but that doesn't make them alright

If somebody put something equally or better than a wrx sti on here i dont think the knives would come out the same. What sort of comments was the op expecting to have on this one seriously ?

I do appreciate other car Marques but like I said previously, it looks as if the OP has done the mods just for the sake of it. I made a thread when I got my Astra VXR and took both negative and positive comments with a pinch of salt I could have gone over the top with my car like some people have done on the VXROnline forums, and like this OP has done, but everything looks better more subtle and tastefully done.

Imho Impreza's are more special than the focuses. If i had to have a focus then it would be either mk1 or mk2 RS but theyre no better than a standard 265 brake sti. Plus the sti would **** all over the rs on the bends and in the wet and off road and in the snow. Also this is snet so there is gonna be subaru fans on here. Id be a **** to put pictures of a lets say for example a wrx ppp with orange wheels and two stripes down the centre on a fordOC and say 'hey guys ive swapped my focus for this!' expecting positive replies.

Not up or down the side of a large hill 'off road'.
Really though, the RS struggles very badly on anything but dry tarmac in low gears.
However, its a pretty rapid machine once its beyond 2nd gear.
The RS/STI fuel economy is very much the same, but the focus tends to chew its front tyres a lot.
And fair enough, the RS holds its resale value pretty well.

You were asking for it by putting a ST on here, a lot of the clowns on here can only see Subaru as a car. Some of these would take a £4000 piece of sh*t Scooby over anything much more expensive. The ST is a great car and i loved mine, i had the Code Red re-map & CAIS so it was running aprox 285. Yes it wont launch in the wet but once moving they are pretty damn quick. Get yourself on fordrst.co.uk for any advice etc.
P.S
I drove to Northern Italy over the Stelvio Pass in mine, i would never of dreamed of trying to do that in my Blobeye PPP

i dont get what you mean when you say that the knives come out when people put pics up of something none subaru?
im not trying to get an argument im trying to understand why you said that when clearly he has had both good and bad opinions.
if people dont like people's opinions then dont put up pics of your pride and joy.
i dont like focus st's at all in any guise, give me a astra vxr anyday over a st.
viper stripes on anything other than a viper is a fail............in my opinion of course.
ps...................no knives present

I like it Would definitely put spacers on though.20mm on the rear and 15mm on the front seems to be the norm.Out of interest did you buy the grills direct from Zunsport as i'm gonna get some myself,no way am I spending 2 days making the full lower one like I did last time I had a ST

In the process of getting spacers fitted but 15mm front and rear
And fitting the poly lower torque rod which is a job for this weekend
The strips are not viper stipes
The winning gt 40 at le'mans
Was black with stripes
Which pre dates the viper
So the 500 was given the stripes
For heritage reasons
But as they say each to there own
And yes I miss the AWD of the scoob
And the big spoiler
But then again I miss the sound and performance of the v6
Of race bus before that

I mooched round in a code red tuned ST for a while couple of years back. I quite liked it as a daily driver. Did everything pretty well, the only thing that got me is it was more thirsty then my M3 E46 which I changed out of
And I have to say it aint no M3!
Decent bus though IMO, personally couldn't live with the Astra VXR, gave up after about a month with that but each to there own! enjoy

When I wanted to change car
It was either a Astra VXR or the mk3 st estate
But went in to my local vxl dealer as a family friend works there as a salesman
He even said I could get 10 vxr's in and out of the ten 1 would be ok
So that went out the window
Then went to ford and looked at the mk3
Loved the car just not the Eco boost engine
As I was leaving they rolled in the 500
Bought it there and then

I don't have a problem with anyone saying they don't like a car, but in this case to say the mods were distasteful and badly done and the car was chavvy is just nonsense... if the same mods had been done to a Scoob and posted most people would have liked them and the others would have just said it wasn't their cup of tea!

The OP used to have a Subaru, and he "modded" it. And guess what happened?
