330bhp / 1200 = 0.275. x 1000 = 275 bhp per ton. (classic)

450 / 1495 = 0.301. x 1000 = 301 bhp per ton. (newage)

400 /1495 = 0.267 x 1000 = 267.5 bhp per ton. So 400 bhp is close enough to match.

Correct me if im wrong ? A rawer car can quite often feel faster even though it isn't.
