Im a power seller on eBay, if the case has gone to their customer team to review then your not 100% going to lose out, I guess you refused the partial refund and instead requested a return for full refund, eBay CS should see this and request he returns it, quite often now eBay will pay for buyers to return items by giving them postal labels to print, this way they can track themselves the return status.

I dont think they can force a partial refund on you.

One tip for all sellers out there, is when selling something of value make a note of serial numbers, if something has no serial number then put a discreet mark/slash on the item, somewhere hidden, this way if something is returned then you can check to make sure its the item you sent. I do this.

I generally factor in about 5% losses for people who are dishonest, it happens on eBay but the majority are honest. A lot depends on what you sell in relation to the amount of hassles you'll get, ie sell things that pikey chavs like/desire then your going to get more hassle than average.

Theres no doubt in my mind, having used eBay to sell for over 13 years its a fantastic site that can positively change your life and offers people the opportunity to make a lot of money Id never otherwise had the chance to make without eBay.
