This was my car as said, cant believe it i had over 2 years trouble free driving in it!
Only thing had to do was it had the dreaded knocking rear strut so i had both replaced at scooby clinic a few months ago
As i told picklemaroo the cars had nothing enginewise apart from catback, k&n panel and hks dv.
Truly does upset me too hear shes poorly as this was the best of 5 sti scoobs ive owned
Hope they get it sorted as there not a bad bunch at esp to be fair.
Fingers crossed its not the head gasket mate!

OP, are you Selby North Yorks? If so are you female?
I saw a white hawk outside the old leisure centre last week and exchanged "nods" with the female driver. I think it had a Scoobyclinic sticker in the rear window, I was going to put a "spotted" post up and make a joke about the car being at SC for a head gasket with it being a 2.5 but that seems awfully insensitive now!!
Hope you get it sorted, can't praise Richard Henry's in Bradford enough if you want a specialist.

Scooby Senior
you'll get that with white cars, my bumpers and scoob all look cramy white compared to the body work.
ask on Midlands Scoobies and UKScoobies if they know the car.
so where do you stand with your car now?
has the HG gone, is the garage you bought it from sorting it ?

that car was at the nbo too, gloss black wheels and the bumpers were badly matched colour wise.

Hello chaps !
Yes I'm a laydeee...and love fast cars, especially scoobies
The situ is that I'm getting the car transported back down to ESP on Friday, they will then do diagnosis. Have already said about refund but they want to fix it. Have said if it is head gasket then will only have it done by specialist such as scooby clinic who are nearby and of course they would need to make good contribution otherwise I won't have it back . Already liaised with scooby clinic over this as will need proper rebuild with uprated parts
Nice to hear from a local selby owner by the way !

Hi all
Just spoke with esp who want to fix the car themselves and then sell it. Didn't even give me option of money towards specialist do needless to say I'm gutted, down and now without a scooby? Any advice lads? Got £11.5k to spend
Big warning again to anyone wanting to buy it!!!

great result for you id say the refund.
slightly over your budget but hurst cars have a jdm hawk sti in white, none of the chocolate piston and hg faults in that as its a jdm 2.0 and has a few nice mods too.

he is very reputable, there is a thread on here somewhere about hurst cars.
give him a ring and have a chat if your interested, he knows his imprezas and would look after you if problems occur as confirmed by many happy buyers of his cars on here.
