Rob been meaning to ask. You used the plastidip on the top roof plastic but did you prep it in any way ie Base coat it etc before laying down the plastidip

Just gave it a good clean with isopropyl wipes first to ensure it was clean enough. Then gave it 3 heavy coats. Been great doesn't mark or anything & matches the interior very well

Cheers Rob, managed to get a can off eBay (prices are rediculous) as i want to have a play with it. Looked on Google but wanted to hear it from someone I who has actually used it that I've had dealings with.

Time to get experimenting with the stuff before hitting the car bits that I want to do

A mate fitted both of mine, it's all DIY unless you pay big money I'm afraid.

Depends what you call big money - most people who do it don't charge much more than the cost of the dremel that you'd need to buy to it yourself

Mine came from Plastidip.co.uk. £16.80 for a 400ml tin
