Just going to throw my 2pence in,

Ive got the R26 F1 locked up in my garrage, i'll never sell her as its one of the nicest FWD cars ive ever owned, not to mention the most fun, the new 250 is basically the same x10, i went through a stage of wanting to chop her in for one (partly because with a simple remap they become a monster with 300+bhp, which is a lot of fun in FWD) but got a bit carryed away at K-TEC Racing and ended up getting a stage 2 for mine instead.

If it was down to me to make the choice again i'd prob sell her and buy the new shape.....but with the recaros and cup pack if your not looking at the 265.

Remap is not like on Subaru, its simple reflash with pre-programmed file with few options,if you wan to run Water methanol kit, like we are, they will not map this option etc.

Hi Craig

Not sure if you could find Hatch STi at this range with proper rebuild, but who knows,if you are have time, you can find

Second option is EVO,with right parts and mods will be awesome car

Not sure if you considered too Monaro/VXR8,great car and for money you can have awesome with awesome noise

Really we are tried Megane F1 225 and must admit, its has been mistake and wouldn't consider again this

My 250 cup is the best car ive owned by far and ive had a blobeye subaru, focus rs and civic type r(ep3)
Its a beast when wanting it to be i have the renault sport monitor so i can change the map settings from snow mode all the way upto extreme ;when in extreme its just crazy pops and bangs as standard.
Ive got the recaros too which are really comfy and supportive.
Around town im averaging between 31-32mpg at the minute

Handling wise we went upto the lakes for a weekend away and in the snow and rain it still stuck to the roads the lsd works great
Then all the gadgets like bluetooth i just play my music through bluetooth no need for leads etc
Best gadget though is the renaultsport monitor displays all sorts even a g force graph

Really expensive at £300

You can tell if it has one in
If it doesnt it says renault on the display when you open the car
If it does it says renault sport

I wasn't overly impressed as I passed one (last model) halfway down the snake pass....

Standard FWD problems with 300+ bhp.

I'm too old, it's not a car for me.
