It was mapped with that on by Simon@JGM, Will be moving it slightly with a cold air feed to help the cold air temps
Got some new exhaust stud's-nut's and gasket's ordered up along with some titanium heat wrap.Once they have had a bit of "Amateur porting" .Then that will be the bottom end of it ready to go back together.
Sump,windage tray and the oil pickup have all been cleaned up and as clean as can be.

Spent the majority of today catching up with the scoob.
Started off by rebuilding the alternator, checked all connection's and put a new regulator in there. Also with a wire wheel i tidied up the front part. Will do the back half another day.
After finding out how to keep the shaft bushes back with a little paper clip it went together a doddle. Just got to remember how i mount it back on the engine ( Forgot photo's of this bit). Anyone got the long bolt that hold's the alternator to the bracket. Think i left it with the AC Pump when i sold it.
Then put all the other bit's of the engine back together
Group N Sump gasket + Small Blob of high temp sealer, Safely secured with some new stainless bolt's and washers
New OEM Inlet manifold gasket's fitted. Along with the newly painted manifold,header tank,coilpack.
Exhaust manifold got ported up to the inner edge of the old gasket mark's, Also polished it as smooth as possible. Knife edged the face's for good effect as well. Heat wrapping to go on as soon as it arrives.
Upipe bracket's de-rusted and repainted In high temp.
Sump repainted and new magnetic sump plug and washer fitted.
New thermostat fitted + small amount of sealant on the cover plate face's
Bad new's of the day: the rocker cover bolt that snapped flush is nigh on impossible to remove, going to had to drill it out somehow, re-tap it, Hopefully it comes out without to much effort or damage.
(Ignore the alternator tensioner bracket, Just bolted it on to keep it out my way for the time being)
Then decided i had enough of that bit, so decided "Stupidly" to strip down some other bit's to be tidied on the car itself.
Fuel filler neck removed and ready to be blasted and painted.
Rear ARB off and soaking in rust removal solution over night.
Rear struts removed ready for repainting of the strut's and springs
Rear caliper's off and waiting to get a final clean up and repainting.
Tried removing the rear control arm's (Bolt wont shift!! More plus gas in the morning)
Tried removing the rear exhaust bracket's and tow eye. Nope 2 bolt's seem to have snapped the nut's in the chassis rail's. so just spin freely !! ****. . Wont be able to remove the rear bumper till there out.. Any idea's what to do. Its on both sides so pretty screwed for that.
Removed the front bumper after a bit of head scratching, Came off easily enough.
Front bumper bar got wire wheel treatment followed by some marine clean,metal prep,POR15. The chassis will be getting the same treatment in a different colour. However with extra rubberised coating for sound deadining. ( Top stuff, highly recommended, Not cheap but brilliant stuff)

Few more photo's of progress so far.
Rear ARB, Droplink's and mounts ready to get cleaned up and painted again. Will update rear droplink's at a later date. Rear brake caliper's getting split and cleaned up with new seal's while im at it. Get them painted again to match the Alcon's when they come back.
The fuel filer neck looking rather sorry for itself, It's actually solid underneath that surface rot so it's getting a proper good clean up and POR15 treatment, Dont want to pay 70 odd quid for a new one!!
The rear crossmember from the driver's side, Tried to soak as many nut's and bolt's in WD40 and plugas as often as i can. Hopefully loosen them up a bit. Same story it's to get blasted and painted.
Rear subframe looking sorry for itself. Should clean up okay. Trying to keep as many bushes intact as i can just now and upgrade over time to new oem ones for comfort and uprated polybush one's on the likes or ARB's and rear control arm's.

Did manage a little bit more over the weekend:
Finished porting up the exhaust manifold, made it as smooth as possible. Then a little wash out. to clear and small metal filling's. New gasket's fitted as well, All bolt's cleaned up and plenty of copper grease applied.
Then finally heat-wrapped, 10 meters doe just shy of the exhaust manifold, Will order another 10 meter's to do the rest and the down-pipe. Apply it when wet, makes it a lot easier to get a tidy finish.
New parallel fuel rail's fitted up. Had to grind away a bit of the manifold on the passenger side, but fitted fine in the end, new injector seal's fitted at the same time.Just need the FPR and Anodised fittings and braided fuel line to arrive now.
Cleaned up the fuel filler neck with a wire wheel and some rust converter. Came up a treat, with only a tiny amount rotten threw, cut it out, welded a new piece in ( about the size of a 50p ) then coated in Etch Primer and waxoyl!!. Should do the trick, Excuse the crappy photo
Also a big recommendation coming here!! Bought some more plusgas to free up those rusty bolts and screw, Work's a treat!! and pretty quickly to. Much better than WD40.

Came home to a few present's arrive from the postie, Must of been busy!!
Exedy Paddle clutch and release bearing
Loads of new Primer and paint for various bit's of the chassis + Parts
Uprated Xenon + LED Bulb's for headlights and rear light's
Random pack of various stainless bolts and screw's (£50 quids Worth!!)
Fuel rail's really are well built and should be more than enough for this car atleast
Also a photo of the rear brakes all cleaned up and painted, Ready to go back on

Finished off a few other thing's this morning, underneath is now sealed up, Left the rear subframe in place, trolley jack is bust and cant afford a new one till after payday. Will probably just leave the rear sub-frame and diff as is now, Will do that lot next winter
Rear ARB primed, painted and re fitted, Need to get a bust bolt out the passenger side mount, then that's little bit finished,
Rear arches and spare wheel + Rear chassis rails got stripped back with a grinder + Wire wheel, Primed then coated in POR15 Grey,
On the spare wheel area and underneath the exhaust heat-shielding i've added a bit of hammerite with added Waxoyl for a bit more protection.
Havent done it how i've wanted it to be with a full strip down and individual part's stripped and painted etc, but it will do for this summer,
Will have to save up a lot more as i plan on getting the underneath blasted etc.
Still managed to renew the suspension, most the bolt's and brackets underneath,rear ARB, Diff & Gearbox fluid's, protect against any potential rust
Hopefully finish the rear end soonish so she's back on her wheel's, then the front end can begin.
Rear driver's side: (Note rust bubbles coming threw again, going back to the bodyshop as not happy)

Managed to sort the passenger side rear ARB Mount, had to destroy the captive nut by smashing it out,welding in a new nut + Washer. Not the prettiest repair however but it's all under-sealed, cleaned up and solid!!
Just awaiting some new Diff oil, and gearbox oil. Gone for the Miller's range so should do the trick.

well that's the rear end all back together
Exhaust all fitted up, Rear strut's ,ARB drop link's etc all tightened up, Rear brakes fitted, just going to get some new rear brake pad's for this summer.
Fitted the mudflap's at the rear, they need the lacquer removing as it's all cracked and look's a bit poop.
Popped the rear end down on the Oz's just now while im getting 2 new tyre's fitted to the P1's, Hopefully find out it the 4th Oz alloy is Fubar'd as well tomorrow
Then on to the front end, plenty of work to do here!!

Engine back in, Majority of the wiring connected up, down-pipe, starter,throttle cable all put back together.
Need to do a bit of wiring to the alarm to tidy it all up and replace with some "proper" connector's.
Took a while to get the engine in properly. First time putting a Impreza engine back in and i over looked the clutch fork!! Doh. Engine back out and clutch fork refitted to the bearing.. must of pushed the clutch down when the engine was out. To get the slave cylinder to line up with the clutch fork was a right pain. Sorted now though, bled some new clutch fluid threw. pedal's nice and smooth.
What took longest was removing any nut's or bolt's in order that i was attacking them at in the engine bay, Wire wheeling them, Tapped/Die'd the thread's. Little bit of anti seize compound, then refitted. Hopefully should stop a few snapped nut's and bolts in the future.
also refitted the light's, grille and fog cover's. Makes her look a bit more like a car again

Relocated the FPR to the now vacant position left by the air con pump. Fitted some of the Torque fitting's for the FPR as well, waiting for more fuel line and fitting's to finish off the fuel line;s properly.
Last bit of the shopping list:
Coolant + thermostat
Oil filler Pipe
Alternator Belt
Arrival of rear brake pads
Finish paying off Scoobyworx for the alcons
Awaiting the new silicone turbo inlet hose
SWRD fuel pump
Intercooler hose kit ( managed to burst one on the wagon when trying this ones TMIC)
Use up the last of the POR 15 underneath
Undecided on alloy choice as well

Had to renew transfer box as very noisey,also CV joints,she is in spray shop at the moment getting front bonnet sprayed.Evo is a lot more raw than Imprezas comfort wise but loving it.Wife hates it.

Small update on this one, Gettign there slowly
Got some new Samco hoses for the intercooler as well now
New thermostat and oil pressure sesor plumbed in.
Ordered a new fuel pump from scoobywox (SWRD 255L/PH), will sort at the end of the month. Lookin forward to getting the refurbished Alcon's back , Like a kid at christmas now.
Not long till MOT time, bit late in the year but at least then she's useable on those "Nice" winter days.
On a sidenote, sold the P1 alloys, and im not fancying the 18 alloy's with low profile tyres anymore. looking for some 17" alloy's that fit over alcon brakes with 215/45/r17 Tyres. Anyone got anything or up for a swap etc

Well im a happy bunny, Last few bit's nearly all together before MOT.
Received these back from Scoobyworx,I am really happy with them. Considering the repair work required . How on earth can i keep them this clean
Ordered 2 new Parada spec 2's and the last few bit's for starting it up ( Engine Oil, Coolant, Few hoses) Should make a start in a few weeks time

Brake's all fitted up. Getting bled tomorrow as well

Got the scoob running WOOOOOP a massive relief. Was a slight issue of lumpy ness and cutting out to start with. However found that out to be the earth from the inlet to the loom as damaged. Fixed an she fired right up
Keeps cutting out due to these bloody fuel lines bursting or leaking. Fed up of them.
Going to take all the fuel lines and hoses off and bin the hose and sell of the connector's.. Going to measure them up independantly and get somewhere to make up more teflon braided fuel line with some more fitting's.
Will also like it if anyone would be able to pop by and cast a second opinion on the car. Help set up the FPR, Brakes. And just for a nosey Beer tokens provided
Also got some new floor mat's for the scoob. These are the basic one's however they seem solid enough. Can get them upgraded to deluxe. Quite happy for £25 delivered. Got them from here :

Got her up and running eventually.All hoses were reused. Just had to get a dremel and proper cutting disc.
1 of the injector's had a knackerd o ring seal witch caused serious over fuelling and flooding of no:1 Cylinder.
Got it changed over and replaced with some seal's from Alyn@ASPerformance. Ordered at 2pm, was with me by 10 am next day!!
Got to replace the other 3 as she's still running rich. Judder's threw the rev's then rectify's itself for a minute.Bang's when hitting 3k RPM
And were i replaced a cam cover stud that had snapped in the head. unfortunately it's no use so will need helicoiled.
On the good side, no coolant leaks or oil or over heating issues.
Code on the dash is Code:31 for TPS as it need's adjusted. Need to try and ask for a hand with that one to read the V's while i adjust it.
Also picked up a genuine OMP Wheel and boss as a Xmas pressie for myself, mainly because i have been after one for ages.

Mainly because of the over fueling bud. the bang's are fuel igniting further up the exhaust.Cant be doing it any good
it's a H&S Genuine 3" decat system. With baffled backbox. Brilliant quality that's what i like about it. Doesnt give the full scooby rumble or "boom Boom" on idle

Thank's its standard 262 silver, Think its the dust glinting off it lol
Well its been picked up by RA motorsport yesterday, Off to get finished off and Mot'd
Supply + Fit RCM timing belt kit and idlers
Sort camshaft cover snapped bolt
Sort the Injector problem, thinking it's a earth issue as replaced injector's and O ring seals all round
Fit new brakes and bleed system.
Mot and full vehicle check
Cant wait to pick it up . Not long now
