Wheels painted and fitted now... im over the moon with them! looks gorgeous!

Skirts getting fitted, one down, one to go!!

New clear side repeaters to get rid of them horrible orange ones!

Headlights all ready, i did the black out mod by oven baking them to open them and painting the horrible chrome inside satin black to give it the look of the STi headlights, that will look 100 times better against the white with the black roof and dark alloys!

And here it is in the light so far... obviously still need the front end building, mud flaps put on and a full machine polish along with all the finishing touches, but you get the idea!!
Im not really happy with the ride height now, it didnt look that high before, but i think its coz the wheels are dark now and the cars white, it looks too high so i think a set of lowering springs might be on the cards in the next few weeks, i wont go too low though coz we have young kids so comfort is a factor, plus my yard has a ramp up so i cant have it scraping the bumpers!! i think 30mm would make it sit about right...

Im also thinking of putting the factory Subaru Technica International STi logos on either front door just tiny like the real Sti's have, but im undecided on this, what do you all think??? i think its a proper replica now, even the seats have STi stitched into them so maybe it could pass for one????

Cool, it's your car mate, I just love white wheels on white bugeyes. Anyway it looks fantastic, well worth all the graft and outlay ... enjoy it

P.S. I would leave the stickers off, just looks so good clean like that!

my plan was to get the wheels done white aswell right at the start coz i also love white alloys they look lovley! but the lads said it would look too much, plus theyre a pain to keep clean and with it being winter would be a mistake. i must say the antharite does look gorgeous so im pleased i went with that in the end! maybe il get a 2nd set of alloys for summer and have them white

headlights back in, front bumper back on, side marker blanks painted black and refitted... the door card fabric inserts have also been dyed black rather than the original blue to match the new seats, i was really suprised at how well they came out you would never know they used to be blue!... i will be valeting the car (i used to be a valeter many moons ago!) then dying the carpets black aswell

Not much else to do now, one sill needs fitting still, the mud flaps, grill painted white and refitted and then a full machine polish then i can take her home again!!!!

As others have said get your self a set of white alloys. My last sti and now my Spec C have white alloys, will admit they are a royal pain in the **** to keep clean but there is something quite sexual about white alloys on a white impreza lol.

i do love white alloys on white cars, they make the wheels look bigger than they really are and set the whole car off, specially on black cars! il definately get a set for the summer.

car looks brilliant mate, love the white.

just noticed you live in sunderland too, which bodyshop did you get this done at, the work looks spot on, i'd be interested in a price for a full spray on my wrx if it looks as good as that in the flesh.

cheers, Mike.
