Dawn and your family my thoughts are with you.
I never had the pleasure of dealing directly with Harvey but always enjoyed reading his contributions to threads. My 1 abiding memory is from a thread a couple of years back '372bhp from a VF35'.
RIP Harvey, your knowledge and contribution to this community will be sorely missed

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Harvey, he was around at the start when we all thought 300BHP was the limit on our chocolate engines and he was amongst the pioneers that proved this was a nonsense.
I met Harvey on ocasion, chatted many times either in threads or by PM and the ocasional call, he was always a man you knew where you stood with and i very much respected this.
I had a few discusions with Harvey post his recent illness and it was great to see him in such good spirits whilst batling through to better health, so it's extremely sad to see he has passed away.
My best wishes and thoughts are with you Dawn at such a sad time.

Very very sad news, spoke to Harvey on the phone a few times regarding bits for my build, very genuine guy, got straight to the point but very helpful, you knew advice he gave you was honest, a credit to the community who will be sorely missed by all who knew him, RIP chap. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family at this hard time.

My lasting impression of Harvey is that of a no-bull engineer who certainly knew his onions when it came to tuning Subarus. Seems he was always willing to cut through hype, often to the disdain of others, but he always stuck to his guns about why something would or wouldn't work, and generally he was proven right! I've read many a thread on here about some new tuning issue, where I've had some pre-conception about something until Harvey's 1-pager replies changed my viewpoints completely.
His posts on here, and the parts he helped develop, definitely helped shape the tuning "scene" (for lack of a better word), and he will be missed.
Dawn, I don't know if it offers any consolation at all, but his posts on here, and his knowledge, will still continue to help people for many years to come!
