Hi mate,

We sure do, this one is good for 400bhp: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...nd-evo-9-.html

Very popular package

I have heard that if I could get my hands on an imported clutch I might not have to skim the fly wheel. Can you tell me if that's a possibility?

Thanks for the reply
We get to hear some funny things about what people have "heard" and I must say this is one of them What's an imported clutch and does it have magical powers that mean it skims the flywheel for you automatically upon fitting? Of course not, regardless of what clutch you use, the flywheel will need skimming (and bearing replacing) unless the surface of the flywheel is perfectly fresh and flat (unlikely if your clutch is slipping!).

I mean I have seen them at 225mm and with the one in the link above at 230mm

Thanks

Both fit and are interchangeable. 230mm clutch is bigger and stronger.

So this other bearing you mentioned, is it not the one that comes in the kit? If not what one is it and how much are they?
I want to order the clutch, but also need to know of any extra costs (if there is any) because there seems to be extra costs from other sellers on here

Thanks

The clutch kit is complete (clutch cover, friction plate and release bearing).

The spigot bearing is a flywheel component and we can supply it for £14.99. On top of this you will have your flywheel skimming costs, waiting time for turnaround etc.

Alternatively if funds allow, buy the package with the lightweight flywheel you will have everything you need, brand new, uprated and ready to go on. The car will be completely different to drive, eager to rev and lively. Probably the best mod you can do on an Impreza.

Labour to fit clutch/flywheel should be no more than £200 at a garage to fit.

The funds don't allow me to spoil myself lol and its only cos me mum gave us some money as to how I can buy the parts I need and get the jobs done, thanks mum lol

I'm having the clutch replaced, both rocker cover gaskets in their sets, downpipe wrapped, exhaust leak sorted and power steering pump replaced for £200 labour. So that's a good start and then just the costs of parts to go on top.

Anyway, I would like to order the clutch kit in the first link you posted for me and the spiggot bearing please
How do you want paying?

Thank you

Exedy Racing Organic (Anti-Judder) with Lightweight forged flywheel package just £599. Telephone deal only.

A lightweight flywheel allows the engine to rev more easily by reducing rotating mass. Makes it much nicer to drive, improves accelerating and feels more lively. One of the best modifications you can do on an Impreza £ for £.

Sorry for late reply.

Clutch: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...5-onwards.html

Flywheels are unavailable in this country. I have heard of someone sourcing from USA, but I am unable to confirm if it was the correct one. The flywheels are ever so slightly different to the other 5 speeds, different enough not to work.
