A man after my own heart. First car was a 205 GTI 1.6, then a 306 GTI6 (what a car that was!!! Still miss it now!) and then onto a 205 GTI 1.9.
One of my fondest memories was starting work at 6am with me and a Golf GTI "spirited driving" (on private roads of course) for an absolute age, him getting past on the straights and me getting back on the roundabouts.
205's are like quick little go karts on the road. The 306 was a dream, not neck-breakingly fast but a lovely car, just don't try a 3 point turn in one.

then ordered a new sti 6 type r in 2000 still got it, only done 23000 miles now running 350 bhp, an awsome vehicle
oh and i have a concourse 1972 tr6 which i show at register events
due to my work i mainly run around in a kangoo van now ( yawn )

Current scoob blob sti before that Audi a4 v6, classic turbo 2000, c220 sport merc, 106 gti , 106 xs, mk 2 fiesta on webbers 1.6 and a kent cam that made it idle like **** , Corsa gte on webbers again , a 04 3 cylinder polo lol, 306 dturbo, and my first car a 106 1.1 that's lasted a week after my test
