BTW this country is far far from a 'dunghole' if it was as bad as you say then we wouldn't have an immigration issue
my god he's admitted whe have a immigration issue . the penny has dropped. the reason my friend is money , living in a dunghole with money is preferable to living in a dunhole skint is it not , simple question
would you rarther live in a boat making money from fishing and pirating living from one day to the next
or live in a 3bed house with all the mod con's and clothes and money in your pocket every week for doing nothing, answer truefully and now you know why we have a large somalian community in this country

The Magna Carta, the Bill of Rights, Habeas Corpus and the Right of Trial by Jury all reflect the spirit of the New Testament; it was Christianity that set the scene for English Law and heavily influenced its tone. Increasingly, people seem to substitute the word 'religion' for Islam in the same way as others substitute 'Asian' for Pakistani; it's as if they're lacking the bòllocks to criticise a specific group so choose to hide behind some enormous and euphemistic and absurdly general tag.
The root cause of The Abu Saga is Mohammad and absolutely not the bedrock of this country, Jesus Christ. These men were not equivalent, their philosophies remain in many ways deeply opposing and these facts ought to be learnt by the ignorant whilst the atheist fundamentalists develop the courage to acknowledge the distinctions.

Jesus was a Jew(ish) and Mohammadism (Islam) like Christianity is an Old Testament offshoot.
My thoughts on the primacy of the rule of law over the day to day blowings of popular opinion are (perhaps) ironically based on on the espoused thoughts of Menachim Begin, who was a) quite religious in his outlook, but b) pragmatic enough to realise that in the modern world, the rule of law must take precedence if we are all to rub along together.
Perhaps you are au-fait with his oeuvre?
I personally don't see Christianity as having any legal slant whatever, I think that cant is perhaps more the realm of proponents of sharia .

As for the "Christianity being the bedrock" of this country idea - well I suppose we are all entitled to our articles of faith. On my reading, the New Testament seems pretty light on legal advice - so not too sure about your Bill of Rights and Trial by Jury viewpoint. Perhaps they are listed in the 10 commandments
Anyway, Abs has gone to the Land of the Free now.
Be interesting to see if their lawyers are as good as ours at working the system - some how I doubt they will even come close.

If you say it is not up for discussion, then ipso facto - for you it must be an article of faith - or fact as you like to call it.
