I've been looking at these snaps mate on FB. Seeing them on a PC rather than a phone shows how much graft has gone in t this car.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Best Bugeye out there if you ask me.

Lol, where have you been for the last 6 years Mr TX? Lol.
Exhaust system was bespoke built by Simpson Race Exhausts in Slough to allow maximum power and designed to be as quiet as we could get it without restricting power.
It is all thinwall stainless and has a single join via vband. It houses 2 large repackable race silencers and the tip is downturned to deflect as much sound to the ground. Subsequently it is 91.5dB static @ 4.5krpm and 87.5dB drive by.

It's an E46 M3 lip to act as a gurney flap and reduces the wing blade chatter at higher speeds. Also a nod to the RS500 cosworth.

All my products come from www.detailedobsession.co.uk

Exterior I use:

Poorboys polish with carnauba
Poorboys Black Hole glaze
Poorboys EXP sealant
Poorboys Nattys Blue, Collinite 915 or Dodo Juice Supernatural waxes.

Quick finish on the outside I use Dodo Juice Red Mist sealant.

Wheels:

Poorboys wheel sealant

Tyres:

Poorboys Bold & Bright.

Plastics are all done in Black Wow.

Engine bay is mostly just soap/water.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Frayz.

Would be interested to know your methods for cleaning engine bay. I have yet to find something that does a good job of cleaning the samco hoses. Prefer not to spray the engine bay with water. Also what do you use for metal parts like alternator etc?

The engine bay was all overhauled when I built her last year. So it was all done while it was apart.
Now ts just soap & water. Metal parts I use autosol.
Samco is just soap and water. Some poorboys bold n bright works nice on the Samcos. Doesn't leave them sticky either as its water based.

MIGHTY

Motorsport look is not my thing but this car is just works so well.

Just confirms that a bug eye can look every bit as good as the later face lifts
