The latest sky app for iPad where it acts as a remote is brilliant

 

Seems there is a media event from Apple on October 23rd (day before MS surface tabs are announced / released I believe) and this is rumoured to be the iPad Mini event. Jim Dalrymple has replied with his customary "Yep", and he's a very reliable source, and his "Yep" comments are pretty much taken as gospel.

Not wishing to go all fanboy, if you are thinking of a 7" ish sized tablet, and can wait a little bit, then I would do so, just to see what the latest offering from Apple is. It might be what you're looking for, then again perhaps not, but it's worth it just to see.

 

Anyone using the new Nexus 10? Looks very impressive.

 

I've got one on order. The reviews say its is fantastic and very competitive for price. Best display bar none of any tablet, latest spec in processing power and jelly bean OS

 

I have it, i personally would have got an iPad if i had an iPhone but i got a Android phone too! Don't get me wrong it is awesome just i personally prefer ios

 

a lot of new Tablets coming in the next 2 months mainly Windows 8 Pro, but some crackers.

 

I went for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 in the end. Very pleased with it

 

Quick update. Had it over a week now and so far so good. Does everything I want, very easy to use and no problems so far....bargain price too
