All of them except Scoobynet have an app though that allows you to view video files without flash.

I have never come across anything using Flash on my ipad and thought oh no I can't watch it. That's because most stuff is done through apps instead of web pages. I find it such a non argument I don't understand why people try to make such an issue out of it

As for anyone claiming the Nexus 7 being better than an ipad I had high hopes the Nexus 7 would be great but once I actually tried one I hated it. Plus the number of people returning them for the raised screen issue is laughable, easily fixed I believe but not many people want to take their new device apart to fix it.

 

Think you'll find the majority of bbc news videos are html5 now, and what exactly is not viewable on SN?

The xoom 2 is only £329.99 and it`s got a larger screen than most. Ideally I`d like larger than 7 inch as I fancy one instead of using my laptop so much

I get that the ipad is good but it`s not the only tablet out there so I wanted other opinions. Also, I`m just not an Apple fan

 

Embedded YouTube vids in the browser without resorting to external apps so that you have better 'desktop like' browsing experience. Oh and iPads cannot multitask.

 

But how that is a problem using the YouTube player? I prefer to have it full screen as it looks silly on the iPhone and iPad whilst viewing the web page still

If you can cope with 7" then it's got to be the Nexus 7. If want bigger then I'm afraid the iPad is still the best.
