Thread revival!
This thread was made a sticky and from the comments it seems it was a good informative read. Unfortunately the link to the guide is no longer working
Does anyone have a copy they could post up?
I'm currently reading up a lot about mapping my ESL and am going to start off by logging, reading, more logging and a lot more reading before I make any changes to the map. I think the more info we have to read the better,as it seems there are quiet a few on the DIY mapping route then this kind of info will be very useful to me and others.
Cheers
Rich

Cheers pal but that site is full of spam and asks you to sign up and put card details in before I can download it!
Doubt they even have the file anyway. Just seem to want to put me in touch with a Russian bride lol

Thanks so much phsyo
It's a shame V1.2 never got posted up but this is certainly a great start and I will enjoy the read
The ESL guide is also a great help.
Like I say the more info the better.
Cheers

Thank you guys for reviving my guide for everyone to download, I've been off Scoobynet for at least the last couple of years. I'll try to revive the guide and give it a mass update if it's still a popular read? Any requests welcome....

Welcome back Graham! Where did you go?

Your guide is great, a must read for anyone coming into the fold I's say and a sticky for this site for sure.

As you say, there are things that could be tweaked and improved but on the whole it's a great start as is.

Yes I wrote that some time ago. Let me know what you'd like updating and I'll see what I can do.

I disappeared off the forum a few years ago when I got involved in manufacturer motorsport programs, engine development, calibration and such like.

One of my biggest complaints when I was tuning publicly was the lack of information available to those that want to educate themselves in making the right tuning decisions, hence why I started the guide.

Hopefully if I get the thread sorted with the moderators I can update the link and update the guide.

As said topic requests are well received. From newbie to heavy technical.

Thanks,

Graham

OK, I've put the PDF files SmurfyBhoy sent into a shared folder on my Google drive:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...6Y?usp=sharing
Engine_Mapper_s_Subaru_Tuning_Guide_V1.1
ASubieNewbieTuningGuide1_0 (from US NASIOC forum)

Could someone let me know if they can access and download? Should be open to anyone with the link above.

Cool. Also put those two files about alarm codes in there, in case they're of use to others.
