It's stunning in white and being that rare colour and being from a dealer you'll have to pay a premium, BUT, it's not worth £11500, not even close.
Deffo the best colour on a blob though by far.

For those of you who are not in touch with your feminine side and cant drive a gay blue car you could always go for this gem of a WR1 http://cars.trovit.co.uk/index.php/cod.frame/url.http%253A%252F%252Fwww.carssoldquick.com%252Fc arsforsale%252Fdetails.asp%253FintTypeID%253D1%252 6intAdID%253D9330%2526c%253Dsubaru_impreza_wrx_sti _%255Bppp%25257D_2.0_%2525C2%2525A319.995_for_sale _bedfordshire/id_ad.151L1rs1Eb14M/type.0/what.wr1/pos.2

Reading into it the JDM seems to be the preferred car. Want is different about the JDM car. Also is it more expensive to insure an import?

Cheers

The WR1 is the worst colour that Subaru released the Impreza in in my opinion. I love the interior but the exterior colour is just horrid! I can't see it being that desirable in the future either to be honest. Save the extra and get a 'normal' STI or even save up more and get a Hawk!

I've gone for a 05 sti ppp with a couple of mods. Better choice for my I think. Waiting for some finances to land and I will be on my way to collect it.

Yeh, first Scoob.

You should be able to get a peach of an STI wide track for 8/9k not £11500

And a reasonable STI for 6/7.5k i,d consider very carefully before spunking almost double the cost of a normal STI on the one in the link.

5/6K spent on a STI and you will be pushing 500bhp

Im having the exact same dilema on another post, although due to the force (AKA my missus) loves the widetrack STI in wr blue with gold wheels, she loved my 51 plate uk300and as shes paying half its cheaper!!

Looks like my decision may have been made!!

It was reports of understeer etc and the fact that the widetrack and dccd helps to address this that pushed me towards the STI, it would always of been in the back of my mind that i didn't have the widetrack even though realistically i probably wouldn't have noticed the difference. Not a massive fan of the colour either.

So even EVO mag thinks the WR1 is overhyped and overpriced.

Uprating the rear anti roll bar will sort out the understeer . I had a WR1 and wish I had never sold it . I can't explain why but it just felt so much more special than a standard STI . The black interior is far nicer than the blue and the ice blue paintwork looks fantastic after a good waxing . I replaced my WR1 with a 450 bhp white Hawkeye STI and in all honesty if I could turn back the clock I would .

I wish you would stop telling all and sundry to "get an 05 Sti wide track blob" how the hell am I going to get one when everyone and his lad is out looking for one? Stop it at once.
