Its worth checking your CPU and chipset as well. A great little ptrogram to log everything at once is this one... very light on the system too.

Thanks Stu, I'll monitor some more
edit: just run the Heaven dx11 benchmark. GPU temp up to 80degs but the fan only ever got up to 48% so plenty more capacity for cooling it should it be needed.
Mind is at rest now
my results, not as impressive as all of yours but
FPS 45.6
Score 1149
min fps 11.4
max fps 103.3
It plays BF3 fine which is all I'm concerned about

Which case you have?
If you have space fit,i would say one bigger fan will help to cool GPU

Hi Jura
It's a Fractal Design R3. Lovely case and has space for a few more fans if needed.

One question with a triple monitor set-up like that, when you open programs do they always open on the primary screen (the one with the start button on, i.e. the left hand monitor?).
Awesome set-up by the way

PS:
This is how it looks with windows setup properly on central screen. much better..
Sure is... needed the firepower to run this proposed desktop size at a good FPS.
Tried hard to get a good shot of it running a game on my phone but failed, this is the best I can do for tonight. Crysis 2 at 5760 x 1200 running around 90FPS at Ultra setting with 64 bit texture pack. Looks amazing!

I didn't realise that when you ran the gpu's thru 3 monitors the res went up that high
I'm still tempted to change my 30" lcd monitor to a 50" plasma I have lying spare in the house

Depends what problem you have now mate? Is the one card limiting your enjoyment of games at the moment if playing them at full res and full texture quality? Are you getting good FPS?

I can't have everything on 'ultra' in BF3, but I guess my enjoyment isn't any less because of it.
I might wait for a few months, let the prices come down before splurging on another one. Just don't want to wait too long and they not be available (would rather get a matched pair rather than different manufacturers and different clock/mem speeds etc).

Has a 360 triple fan rad in the top panel, and it is so easy to keep the cabling tidy.

- New manufacturing processes.

- New Lower heat output.

- New levels of performance.

New cluster**** of driver problems.
I must admit this has wetted by PC building tastebuds which were already moist after seeing how much better BF3 looks on PC compared to PS3. Wondering what I can salvage out of my current rig realistically but if only the case / PSU I may as well build from scratch and leave this one for the mrs to use.

Hi mate,
No, to add the 3rd card I had to buy a new MOBO and a new 1250w PSU as well, not to mention 2 extra cooling fans, so that third card, essentially, cost me over a grand! And guess what, **** all works with it.
Add a serious GPU to that rig and see what happens. That way, your not losing anything if you have decided you may build another machine.
Your problem is, Battlefield is one of the most power hungry games on the market, it really does eat up all you attack it with, but I am not sure how CPU intensive it is, but probably not much, unless you plan to play it onlne, then you can get into problems if there are a lot of connections in your map.
Your running those 3 on the same 720W PSU?
