That was at 4.4 mate, the i7 core had slowed back down to idle by the time I hit the screenshot.

Random pic of her guts.

Sure is... needed the firepower to run this proposed desktop size at a good FPS.

Tried hard to get a good shot of it running a game on my phone but failed, this is the best I can do for tonight. Crysis 2 at 5760 x 1200 running around 90FPS at Ultra setting with 64 bit texture pack. Looks amazing!

This is the guts of mine:

Nothing like the beast that Stu is running, but not bad... (QX9650 running at 4GHz with 8Gb DDR3 and the SLi'd GTX570s)

Although I am having some weird graphics issues at the moment...

Maybe its setup with turbo / speedstep disabled mate, its much easier to overclock that way. No real drama, just uses more juice and generates more heat. Whats the cooling like? have you run IBT on it?

Looking at this thread has made me test my recently built (be me) PC.
i7-2600k @ 3.4Ghz (pre-overclocked bundle from scan) and a 2Gb 560Ti pre-clocked too.
Anyway, when I built it I bought a decent case that looked decent and got good reviews, (Fractal Design Define R3) it came with 2x 140mm fans, and everything went together ok.
I only really play BF3, and prior to reading this thread I didn't think anything of what temps things were running at but having now had some temp monitoring I'm a bit worried the gfx card is running too hot?
At idle it's 52-53degs but when in BF3 it gets as high as 81degs?
I'm thinking I should put at least another fan in there? one of the key things I wanted with this PC though was that I didn't want it to be too loud...
