Should be an impressive turnout from our lot

 

Well if no one else is going to do it, we`d lose out.
Just hope they can sort it out, for us.

 

The only one's who lose out are those who are slow off the mark or can't be arsed to get anything sorted.

Few are always sorting stuff out for many.

 

Ian, the trouble is that if nothing was done then the members who are quite happy to take advantage of other peoples hard work would just stand back and do jack.

I remember it was about me having the spare stand pass off someone else who was taking two cars then only ended up taking the one....

That is the same anywhere, and usually its by the Area Co-ordinator/Area Rep etc. If no one was "in charge" of these things then nothing would ever get done.

Agreed.
Also if nothing was done, then you`d have nothing done. People would end up paying while some go free (for this particular event), so its either sit back and do nothing or throw your hat in to benefit yourself and others?? We should all work together as that benefits everyone.

But this is detracting from this event, and hopefully we`ll have enough free tickets so no one pays.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Mark but that wasn't what I was on about so please insert the dummy back in.

What I was on about was a rather 'frank' discussion that took place on the subject of the same members always having to organise shows, runs, meets etc while other sat on their hands and did nothing. I can't find the thread at the moment but give me time...

Never had a dummy as a baby so certainly haven't got one now :-)

 

Mark, I was trying to add some humour hence the but too few do too much when it comes to meets, shows and other events.
