Well that's an anti climax after the 'excitement' generated by your possible choices.
I have to say though you'd have to be nuttier than a squirrels poo to go for that horrid purple shade.
Boring but expected.

I only decided after spending an hour looking through pictures that I preferred the blue, and that was 10pm last night lol.

Look forward to seeing the finish product.
The finish of the base/clear has more to do with the painter than anything else really as there is a fine line between dry/perfect and runs in the finish product although without good prep you are fighting a loosing battle.

Anyways went down first thing and dropped off the wheel centres, and sorted the codes.
Anyways some pics.
They have painted the car black with some sort of primer, then grey and are wet sanding it back to show the black through.
What this means in the great scheme of things I don`t know lol.

Don't let them skimp on the flatting/ polishing stages either. Proper finishing is essential to get a flat, peel free finish that brings the flake out well amd really shines.
Oh Jarv, changed my mind with the colour as I couldn`t get it to settle in my mind, so instead of the Purple, I`m going Sonic Blue.
Should look VERY similar to this.

Anyways was asked which 74F I wanted?? I was like 74F, so he sent me this.

Said to go for the bottom one

I`m sure that it was painted the middle colour when I took the car there lol.
Anyways she has colour now, I got the wrong pic above, same paint code but lighter, picked the car pic off my phone so screen showed the colour wrong lol.
Anyways here`s her as of half hour ago.
Pics aren`t great but my mate sent them to me off his phone.

Colour look familiar??

So basically I`ve gone around the houses via Guatemala, Timbuctoo, Tiperaree (its a long way), Outer Mongolia, and arrived back at where I originally started to put it in the same colour as it was but all over lmfao.
I don`t think I`m gonna live this down lmfao.
If it was a 22b or a Type R then yeah, not a fan of the new age.
I like the throttle being a cable my foot operates, the lightness of the car, the feel of the raw classic, the looks. You can`t get that from a newage.
But SERIOUSLY liking the Hatch Sti`s, they have grown a lot on me.
Funny that I could have sworn that my car has a throttle cable, but as usual you must be right and it's a figment of my imagination.
As for raw, try driving a car with reinforced rigidity, no sound proofing and with a better drivetrain.
