Ty your safe its NOT going orange, and its NOT going what you thinks it`s going either, so a surprise!!

Lets just say its meeting my initial brief, whilst also meeting the second. So all in all I`m now a happy man!!

 

To be honest JB we all knew you weren't going with the orange, it's ok on interchangeable things like wheels but there's no way I'd go with it on the whole car. It's good to accentuate a certain feature as less is more as they say.

But the best thing is I was going orange, its only when I sat down and really thought about it I decided against it, esp as the paint needs an undercoat, white top coat, then orange ontop as its too thin.

In the end it was a hard decision and has taken me a good few hours thinking, and even now I`m torn between 3 colours, one being Orange.

I was speaking to my mate who`s going to be spraying it, that can happily spend double the amount tuning a car, buying ECU`s mapping, suspension, and things like that. But comes to colour I can`t decide.

Subaru did Cashmere Yellow. Nothing unusual about yellow.

 

That is more yellow than a Frenchman's backbone.

 

This was almost illuminous though. Actually saw it this colour.

 

Well after a bit of looking around I found that this is/was a Subaru paint code, and that I can only find 2 pictures of the same car on google with the same colour.

So I`m quietly confident I`ll not find another Impreza quite the same colour as this, and its a colour that I`m going to like (I hope lol).

Apprently it`s a 1998 to present colour, but I`ve never seen one (always will be a few turning up once its finished lol).
