This have always stated that we would offer a free 3 inch filter whilst stocks of the filter lasts!

I do know that we are almost OUT of stock of our Filters and once these are gone we wont be able to provide the filter.

Don't get me wrong the shooting of the 2 WPC's was a terrible occasion but I'd hope most people wouldnt be small minded enough to tar all of Manc with the same brush?
After all, Raoul Moat shot a load of people. Do you then assume everyone in that area is a trigger happy maniac?

Of course not, but to say "far better than anywhere down south" cannot be taken seriously!
Anyway, back to Japspeed intercoolers

OK Guys!

The fact that Manchester has recently been feature on the news has no relevance to these awesome intercoolers we are selling!

BTTT!!! Who else wants one!

Fitted mine over the weekend, and God what an involved job!

Not too sure about the purpose for the L shaped bracket or the additional bracket that looks like it would hold a pipe in place (bracket ending with a U shape).
Pipework seems secure so haven't bothered, wouldn't line up anyway

Ed, my kit was missing the 2.75" to 2.5" reducer hose for the manifold. Is that supposed to be included? I've re-used my old intercooler hose as a temporary measure but would much prefer the proper item if you have one available?

Thanks,

Giles

my mechanic just started fitting kit.

looks like the welded part on top of intercooler is not lined up correctly. it is sitting about half an inch to the left, looks like some modification is needed.

will post photo later when home.

I had the same issue mate.
TBH I think the brackets at the bottom have been welded onto the wrong side of the core.
I just drilled two holes through the supplied bumper bar instead of using the machined out square, although rather irritatingly this does mean it sits slightly to the left rather than dead centre
BTW - did yours come with a 2.75" to 2.5" reducer hose for the inlet?

Good luck with cutting the bumper - you need confidence to keep going LOL.

this is not as easy to fit as I thought it would be, quite a lot of fannying about. All parts are here but not great fitment.

have you had yours remamped since fitting the Fmic?

Going on Wednesday.
Not driving her until then. A mate told me he uses a bolt down the centre. I'm gonna cut mine off with an angle grinder and re drill the holes to centre it I think.

Hi Paul,

Ive taken pics of the install from start to finish, i'll get them sent over soon.

Think we just been the unlucky ones as some people have been perfectly fine.

Its all in place now & looks amazing so not complaining, cannot grumble at the price we got the kit for, i expected it to be a bit of a mission to be honest, lol
