I think most problems start once kids get over about 8 or 9.
A small % realise there is a social structure and try and place themselves at the top of it via force.
As and when / if we have kids I think its about this age my kids will start Wing Chun.

There is a difference between martial art training, which is generally focused on self defence and as you rightly point out, fitness versus the stupidity of the cage fighting stuff that was all over the news a few weeks ago or telling your kids to go out and batter someone.
I'm also telling me lad not to let people hit him and if they do, hit them back. He knows that hitting people is wrong though, that's the important aspect. Plus he doesn't like people in his personal space, it upsets him so he might be taken as a bit of a push over at school. I'd rather he wasn't.

I picked him up from after school (art) club, only to find out off Fin, that a child from another class has taken his lunchbag, wandered off to the dinner hall, and eaten my sons sandwhiches and sausage roll.
This child, who has school dinners, was told off but then went off and ate his school meal also.

at this, although its a gross misconduct committed by the thief kid. I bet he is fat, and looks like a bully. I wish for the greedy microshoitster to starve for at least 24 hours as a serious punishment. 
Right heres what you do.. Day 1: Tell your child not to eat sandwhich X and put mustard in it 
Day 2 three sandwhiches. Mustard again in bag X dog **** in sandwhich Y and £5.00 in sandwhich A. - the kid won't fall for a second mustard burn so will want the other sandwhich (Y) .. Then as your child was good at fooling the tweat they get £5 to blow on any sweets they want...
If it continues then nails

Please get educated before branding everyone stupid.
Hate it when people use the term cage fighting its MMA (mixed martial arts) it is also about self defence too. Just because you seen one video don't judge the rest of it.

And the other thing, the media says cage fight. It wasn't a cage fight or mma. It was a grappling match, hence the reason the kids for no gloves or head guards and there was no strikes

. But then this happens every week in judo, ikedo and wrestling matches. If you wanna get really into it explain to me why every week hundreds of schoolboy boxing matches take place without anyone batting an eye. And the facts prove that there are more head/brain injuries with boxing than mma. Rant over. I'm sick to death of people slating a sport they no nothing about and do not train in.
