Titanic - nothing to do with the Leonardo di Caprio / Kate Winslett element, just the fact that it was real life and all those people perished that night.

Not a film, but the last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth, where they go over the top always brings a lump to my throat too, as the guns fire and then it fades to the modern day poppy fields.

Totally agreed on the Black adder ending. Unfortunately it would be lost on the vast majority of disrespectful youths these days.

Toy Story 3 really put a lump in my throat I have to admit. If the missus wasn't watching Rain Man with me the other night, I defo would have had a wee tiny cry.

Oddly the first Michael Bay Transformers film had a scene were BumbleBee gets captured by the police/Army, that was another wee lump in the throat moment. I'm a pathetic man, I shall now go and play with some power tools.

Yep. It's beautifully observed and respectful to the poor souls sent to their pointless deaths.

Stunning TV.

The thing that prevented me from blubbering like a baby in marley & me is that the dog changed about 12 times.. they couldn't even get the right colour dog...

You want a dog film to cry over... Hatchi with Richard Gear...

Having recently become a dog owner we decided to watch Hachi. Yeah, moving story. Wee wolf got plenty of hugs from us both after it.

You should watch Quill for weepy doggie movies. A very touching tale (no pun intended). There is a very cool sequence when Quill is dreaming.

lol I couldn't have the sound on (at work) - so guessed it was, by the visuals (as it didn't look too serious at all).
